Connecticut Outreach Society - The Connecticut Outreach Society (COS) is a support group for transgendered individuals and their spouses or significant others. Membership in COS is open to all crossdressers, transsexual ( both MtF and FtM ) and gender variant individuals, spouses, significant others as well as interested medical and mental health professionals. COS meets twice monthly in the Hartford area
Triangle Transgender Society - A support/social group that meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 7pm to 10 pm in Norwalk CT. This group is open to any member of the transgender community and their partners. This a place to be yourselves and be relaxed in a comfortable setting. The Twenty Club - The Twenty Club is a support group run by and for the transsexual community. Our Purpose is to provide knowledgeable information and ongoing peer support to transsexuals though the many stages of their transition as well as information about the Gender Identity Clinic of New England, Inc. Friends and relatives are encouraged to attend in the hope of gaining a greater understanding and acceptance of their loved one’s gender dysphoria. The Twenty Club is non-profit and non-sexual. Transgender American Veterans Association (TAVA)- The Transgender American Veterans Association (TAVA) was formed to address the growing concerns of fair and equal treatment of transgender veterans and active duty service members. As the population of gender-different people increases, then so does the population of veterans and active duty service members who identify as such. TAVA serves as an educational organization that will help the Veterans Administration and the Department of Defense to better understand the individuals they encounter who identify as being gender-different. As veterans, we have also served proudly, and will continue to do so. TAVA is here to help where we can.
